    Cornerstone Civil Engineering Journal

    Cornerstone Civil Engineering Journal (CCEJ) is a peer-reviewed and open access scientific journal published by Akademi Teknik Kupang. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and applied engineering studies in the field of civil engineering and infrastructure development.

    CCEJ focuses on various areas of civil engineering, including water construction engineering, building construction, roads and bridges, structural engineering, geotechnics, transportation systems, construction management, surveying, environmental engineering, and sustainable infrastructure technology.

    The journal aims to become a scientific platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to disseminate innovative ideas, practical solutions, and applied research findings that contribute to the advancement of civil engineering knowledge and sustainable infrastructure development for society.

    CCEJ was first published in August 2026, beginning with Volume 1, Number 1, and is published twice a year, in January and August.

    CCEJ is published as an online electronic journal through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. All submitted manuscripts undergo an editorial screening process followed by peer review by qualified reviewers whose expertise is relevant to the subject area of the manuscript. The journal applies principles of academic integrity, objectivity, independence, and publication ethics throughout the editorial and review process.

    CCEJ applies an Open Access policy, allowing published articles to be freely accessed by readers without subscription fees. The journal focuses on research and professional developments in civil engineering, including structural engineering, construction engineering and management, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, water resources engineering, environmental engineering, infrastructure development, and other related areas.

    Cornerstone Journal of Community Engagement

    Cornerstone Journal of Community Engagement (CJCE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary journal published by Akademi Teknik Kupang, Indonesia. CJCE is specifically dedicated to publishing scholarly articles derived from community engagement and community service activities that have been implemented directly within communities.

    CJCE does not primarily publish conventional research articles that only report research findings without community implementation. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must demonstrate an actual community engagement process, including the identification of community needs, implementation of activities or interventions, participation of community members or partner institutions, evaluation of outcomes, and evidence of benefits or impact on the target community.

    The journal welcomes community engagement activities from various disciplines, including education, engineering and technology, health, economics and business, entrepreneurship, agriculture, environment, social sciences and humanities, law and governance, tourism, disaster risk reduction, digital literacy, local wisdom, and other interdisciplinary fields.

    Published articles may report activities such as community training, mentoring, capacity building, technology transfer, implementation of appropriate technology, educational programs, community empowerment, professional assistance, social innovation, environmental initiatives, disaster preparedness, entrepreneurship development, and other forms of applied community engagement.

    CJCE emphasizes real-world implementation, meaningful community participation, measurable outcomes, sustainability, knowledge transfer, innovation, and demonstrated benefits for communities. Research methods and data analysis may be used to evaluate community engagement activities; however, the primary contribution of each article must remain the implementation and impact of community engagement activities, rather than research findings alone.
