Editorial and Peer Review Principles
Cornerstone Civil Engineering Journal (CCEJ) applies an independent scholarly editorial process. Manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial team to assess their relevance to the journal's focus and scope, academic quality, originality, and compliance with submission requirements.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are assigned to qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject of the manuscript. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, confidential, and academically responsible evaluations.
Final publication decisions are made by the editorial leadership based on the manuscript's scientific quality, reviewers' recommendations, revisions submitted by the authors, and compliance with the journal's publication ethics.
