Information For Authors

Cornerstone Civil Engineering Journal (CCEJ) welcomes original research articles, review papers, technical papers, and case studies related to civil engineering and infrastructure development.

Authors are invited to submit high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of civil engineering knowledge, innovation, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Scope of the Journal

CCEJ accepts manuscripts in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Water Construction Engineering

  • Building Construction Engineering

  • Roads and Bridges Engineering

  • Structural Engineering

  • Geotechnical Engineering

  • Transportation Engineering

  • Surveying and Geomatics

  • Environmental Engineering

  • Construction Management

  • Sustainable Infrastructure

  • Smart and Digital Construction Technology

Submission Requirements

Authors must ensure that:

  • the manuscript is original and unpublished,

  • the manuscript is not under review in another journal,

  • the manuscript follows the journal template and author guidelines,

  • all references are properly cited,

  • and ethical research standards are maintained.

Manuscript Language

CCEJ accepts manuscripts written in:

  • English

  • Indonesian

Authors are encouraged to use clear academic language and proper grammar.

Online Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through the online journal system at:

Submission via email is not accepted.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process conducted by independent reviewers with expertise in relevant fields.

The review process evaluates:

  • originality,

  • scientific contribution,

  • methodology,

  • technical quality,

  • clarity of presentation,

  • and relevance to the journal scope.

Publication Ethics

Authors are expected to follow ethical publishing standards, including:

  • avoiding plagiarism,

  • avoiding data fabrication and falsification,

  • disclosing conflicts of interest,

  • and ensuring proper authorship contributions.

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software.

Open Access Policy

CCEJ provides immediate open access to all published articles to support the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Readers may freely access and use published articles with proper citation.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their published work while granting the journal the right of first publication under an open access license.
